Thank you Winding River Staff! You all were so accommodating, helpful and friendly! We had the best time staying at Winding River campground. Their sites are big enough and clean. The bathrooms were also clean, plus free showers! They have playgrounds for the kiddos to play at, a huge bounce pillow, activities for all ages and their pool is nice & relaxing. The downtown area and the beach is close enough to go to as well! A great time for everyone to have; very family friendly! We will be back for sure && recommend Winding River campground to anyone!

My family spent the weekend here with friends (and all our kids) and we all had an awesome time! The cabin we stayed in fit 4 adults and 3 young kids. We all appreciated that every bed (including the bunks) was a queen size. We could also easily fit a pack in play in the main space. Over the weekend we attended some fun events including a pancake breakfast with Hickory Hank, hayride and live band at the pavilion, along with spending a lot of time at the pool (there's a kiddie area, a water slide, a hot tub, and plenty of seating around). What I think was best about the entire campground was the people - staff AND guests. Everyone was so friendly, kind and helpful. We lost a baby shoe during one of our trips on the golf cart around the camp ground and a group of teenage boys caught up to us and returned it. It saved us A LOT of time trying to find the missing shoe. Lastly, I really enjoyed that the campground was only 30 minutes away from our house. I didn't need to drive 3 hours to get a great, outdoor NH vacation/camping experience. All together the campground hit all the check boxes for us! We'll definitely be back and would recommend Winding River Campground to our friends.

We went here for Memorial Day weekend with a group of 20+. We had a blast. If you haven't been in recent years. GO. It’s under new ownership and excellent grounds. Well kept. Trash pick up. 2 playgrounds and a pool. They had a live band. Corn hole tournament. Adult swim time. Place was great. We rented a golf cart to go to the pool and country store for the kids but deff walkable. Highly recommend. We will be back with the group.

There is no finer place for camping with friends and family like the winding river campground. It has one of the largest swimming pools, complete with rock water slides, in New Hampshire! And don't forget the hot tub that will seat 15 comfortably. Fantastic staff! There is an arcade with air hockey, pinball, and an array of gameplay! The kids can pan for rock treasures, rent pedal bikes, paddle down the river in Kayaks, or rent a golf cart for the day and just drive around the campground. There is a general store that sells everything from firewood to beer and quite literally anything you may need. There is a full ice cream bar and don't forget the restaurant! Hands down the best burger and fries and homemade pizza! On weekends, there is a live band and disco ball for dancing the night away, and let's not forget the drive-in, where you and your kids can sit on a blanket and watch a featured Disney movie. The cabins are clean and beautiful should you choose to rent one. Widing River Campground has it all and more! I absolutely love this place! Pets welcome!!

My kiddos and I have had a fabulous time here!! Such a wonderful staff, the girls in the office have been more than accommodating!! If you have any issues at all Sarah is your go-to girl, She is such a wonderful manager. I tend to be a little " "forgetful " sometimes and she has answered all of my silly questions and treats everyone with such Kindness and really ensures all of the guests are happy! One afternoon I was a single quarter short to finish my laundry and Mercedes ( I believe a manager) stopped everything she was doing to run out to her car and give me a few of her personal quarters....that is just one small example of the amazing community here at Winding River. From the girls in the office and the entire staff who work hard to keep everyone entertained and a packed schedule with lots for the kids to do! My kids definitely found a sense of independence being here and I was so grateful to know they were/ are safe while here exploring with their new camp friends and that is in large part to do with the amazing staff! Oh and I can't forget the amazing chef, Luke!!! He is SO kind and personable! He truly cares and wants you to enjoy your meal and it shows through his compassion and attention to detail! We will Definitely be coming back next year!! See you guys all then! Thank you for a great Summer!

My family absolutely loves this campground! This week we spent our second time here and it DID NOT disappoint!! Activities and the anemones are fantastic. This week was Western themed and there was country line dancing lessons, karaoke for adults and kids, tween time and a Saturday night bonfire. The pool and hot tub are a huge hit with our family and the playground has a really cool bounce cloud pillow that the kids LOVE!! Gem mining is cute and the little “town” buildings for their store, ice cream, game room and restaurant are a cute touch! The ONLY thing that could make this place better would be a handicapped lift for the pool. We have a grown daughter in a wheelchair and that would be a huge help for us but we always bring things to help us with accommodations like that. Anyway, we plan to return for sure!

Chose this facility really based on location , as we were in town for the NE Nationals at Epping Dragway. Arrived around 8pm, so we just missed the office closing for the night. But the site was ready, and bigger than what they made it seem like. SIte #130 was next to the pool, but seperated enough to still have quiet. IF you are arriving after the office is closed, BE SURE TO READ YOUR ARRIVING DAY EMAIL. It lists the gate code youll need to get in, or you'll be boondocking in the front lot the first night. This is a primarily season camper facility. I think we only counted 3 or 4 obvious transients on our walk around the facility. But the people couldnt have been any friendlier. Nice community gathering area with 2 community fire pits, several grassy areas for gatherings/ games. The Town Center is nice. the grounds are clean and well maintained.. Utilities were flawless, even the wifi. The two bathhouses were equipped with dishwashing sinks for those without a kitchen. We've only seen that at one other facility. The only layout "flaw" I noticed was the trash dumpsters were located outside the main gate, which is approx. 1/2" mile from the sites. There were no trash disposal amenities inside besides a couple normal garbage cans ( nothing for routine disposal of trash bags)...Not that we needed routine trash disposal, but We are cautious of leaving trash bags in site for fear of attracting animals. Certainly not an issue for those with golf carts, but nobody wants to walk trash that far. Overall, I'd book here again. Cant really find any reason NOT to.

Nice family camp ground. Site was flat, deep, and easy to fit a 28' travel trailer. Jump blob is great! Pool is big and a nice area to hang out. Hot tub is good size and nice layout. Kids had a blast riding bikes all around. General store inside camp ground is convenient but slim pickings. They did have gems, rocks and fossils for purchase in a bag of sand- kids loved it (see pic). The store did have sliced cheese, which we forgot. The ice cream shop was also a hit with the kids and fair price. There was a drive in movie, Bingo, and live music. Overall great experience.

Unbelievable weekend. Staff extremely friendly and working hard to make sure the hundred plus people here are happy. Multiple food trucks, awesome band last night with a DJ coming tonight. Pools refreshing and crystal clear with it being packed due to the last three days being 100 plus degrees out. Basketball court, teen room they just created, and the activities are on point. I’ll post photos later but definitely a great job done by the management and workers.
